Ready for Rishi: Another oven-ready dish from Boris Johnson

It is pretty audacious that Rishi Sunak’s team are trying to sell him as a fresh start, Rishi Sunak has not been an innocent bystander in Johnson’s government of Kleptocracy, he has pretty much been the co-pilot, Johnson’s wingman in every major decision brought down on the people.

Sunak has been part and parcel of the Johnson regime from beginning to end, he is literately ‘oven-ready’ to take over as PM! He wouldn’t need to change a thing; he has been one of the most instrumental in taking the country on its present course to nowhere ever since Johnson gained office.

He served as Chancellor of the Exchequer from 2020 to 2022, having previously served as Chief Secretary to the Treasury from 2019 to 2020.

He was the chancellor that oversaw the biggest transference of public money into private hands since the Goths sacked Rome. The Tories constantly repeat the line about getting a vaccine out before anyone else, but they miss out on the part where the chancellor, Rishi Sunak gave away billions to friends and family on the Tory VIP line; or where they spent £37billion on a useless app, an “Unimaginable” cost of Test & Trace that failed to deliver, all on Sunak’s watch.

Rishi Sunak’s history is just as peppered with controversy as most other Tory wannabe leaders, from his ‘Green card status’ or the controversy over the family fortune, dealing with Russia when all others were sanctioned to his wife’s avoiding tax through her non-dom status.

Tulip Siddiq, Labour’s shadow economic secretary to the Treasury, called for Mr Sunak to “urgently explain how much he and his family have saved on their own tax bill” at the same time as raising taxes for millions of people during the cost of living crisis.

She said: “The chancellor has imposed tax hike after tax hike on the British people. It is staggering that – at the same time – his family may have been benefitting from tax reduction schemes. This is yet another example of the Tories thinking it is one rule for them, another for everyone else.”

Let’s not forget the Corruption: Billionaire Chancellor Rishi Sunak ‘WRITES OFF £4.3bn’ in public money given to companies and businesses in covid payments scheme now considered lost or stolen by fraudsters.

His campaign team go pretty quiet when #PartyGates is mentioned. The fact that little Rishi Sunak partied while we were in Lockdown, separated from family friends and loved ones, and his claim he ‘accidentally’ went to Boris Johnson’s birthday party doesn’t go down too well with the masses, after all, wasn’t that the big reason Johnson’s tenure could no longer be tenable, the half-truths and full-on lies? We don’t care that Sunak’s slice of cake was bigger or smaller than Boris Johnson’s. They both received a fixed penalty fine, didn’t Starmer call for the prime minister to resign because of that? After all, you cannot have your cake and eat it!

However, cake aside, no matter what Sunak suggest it will be the same old Tories only this time there will be no fooling the masses we know from his lips to our ears, he is no friend of the working class.
