Labour MP shows why Labour will never be a credible Party again

Labour MP Neil Coyle has branded Brexiteers “sh*tbag racist w*nkers” during a late night tweet on the BBC’s decision to play a wordless version of Rule Britannia at this year’s Last Night of the Proms.

It seems Labour has not learnt from its humiliating 2019 general election defeat, a defeat without a doubt due to Sir Keir Starmer’s vote losing second referendum policy. A policy that witnessed Labour losing 52 leave voting constituencies in the once impenetrable Red wall of the traditional Labour Heartlands. How Labour thinks attitudes and insulting remarks are a formula to win those seats back is just worrying.

In a now deleted tweet, Coyle wrote “I have spent years warning local people that these fat old racists won’t stop blaming the EU when their shit hits the fan. Here they come blaming others. Absolute shitbag racist wankers.” This was in response to a tweet by fellow parliamentarian Jacob Rees-Mogg, who had made a post concerning the BBC’s decision to censor the traditional perfomance of Rule Britannia meant to take place during the final evening of the Proms. Coyle followed this tweet up with a further tweet, referring to the song, “If you didn’t hate it before, feel free to hate the song now. I’ve never known anyone but shitlickers like it tbh.”

His tweet is as insulting to 5 million Left-wing leave voters as it is to the right-wing leave supporters.

Neil Coyle outburst doesn’t stop at people who have asserted their democratic right and made it known they do not want to belong to a neoliberal EU, like some raving Gammon. Coyle twitter page is full of Corbyn Bashing tweets mixed with post-truth history as to why Labour fared so badly in last years general election.

Coyle is the epitome of a cuckoo and fits very nicely into Starmer’s ‘New Labour’

Neil Coyle out of touch comments about patriotism shows how little he understands the working class or the socialist movement.
Patriotism as never been a bad thing only when it is tainted with racism and or nationalism does it become a perverted idea.

The nations real shame is that the Labour Party have forgotten their history and sitting in the PLP are a bunch of centrist charlatans

On the EU and Coyle’s so called racist wankers he should maybe read a little Labour Party history, Tony Benn is always a good place to start on all things wise.

“My view of the EU has always been not that I am hostile to foreigners but I am in favour of democracy. I think they are building an empire and want us to be part of that empire, and I don’t want that.”- Tony Benn

National pride and patriotism

Lenin, in his article “On the National Pride of the Great Russians,” asks: “Is a sense of national pride alien to us, Great-Russian class-conscious proletarians? Certainly not! We love our language and our country, and we are doing our very utmost to raise her toiling masses to the level of a democratic and socialist consciousness.”

Patriotism has always been a characteristic of socialist states, from the USSR to Cuba. Even the anti-fascist war in which 26 million Soviet lives were lost defeating the Nazis is known as the Great Patriotic War.

The working class will never be ashamed of being British but we may be ashamed of those that have ruled over us and the acts and deeds they have carried out in our name.
