Frank Hester: A Portrait of Racism at the Heart of Tory Donations
Well, well, the sordid depths to which the Conservatives will plumb for filthy lucre truly know no bottom. Their biggest donor, it would appear, is a corpulent vulgarian who spews bile about “shooting” Britain’s longest-serving Black MP with the same ease as he belches sulphurous fumes about “foreign” workers and “Chinese girls.”
Frank Hester, the millionaire charlatan whose bottomless pockets are greasing the wheels of Sunak’s sputtering clown car, has been caught red-handed making vile racist comments that would make even the Rottweilers of the Monday Club blush. Apparently, the mere sight of Diane Abbott on television induces in him an overwhelming urge to “hate all Black women” – a primal loathing so intense that he feels the urge to put a bullet in her head.
Frank Hester: started: “It’s like trying not to be racist but you see Diane Abbott on the TV and you’re just like, I hate, you just want to hate all black women because she’s there, and I don’t hate all black women at all, but I think she should be shot.
“[The executive] and Diane Abbott need to be shot. She’s stupid … If we can get [the executive] being unprofessional we can get her sacked. It’s not as good as her dying. It would be much better if she died. She’s consuming resources. She’s eating food that other people could eat. You know?”
Frank Hester made a statement on ‘X’ formally known as Twitter which read:
“Statement regarding recent media reports:
Frank Hester accepts that he was rude about Diane Abbot in a private meeting several years ago but his criticism had nothing to do with her gender nor colour of skin. The Guardian is right when it quotes Frank saying he abhors racism, not least because he experienced it as the child of Irish immigrants in the 1970’s. He rang Diane Abbott twice today to try to apologise directly for the hurt he has caused her, and is deeply sorry for his remarks. He wishes to make it clear that he regards racism as a poison which has no place in public life”.
The Guardian after breaking this story gave Haster up warts and all.
Hester, founder and chief executive of The Phoenix Partnership (TPP), made the comments at a 2019 meeting at the firm’s headquarters, according to a Guardian investigation.
There’s some history there…
On a separate occasion in 2019, Hester called everyone who was “foreign” among his employees to a meeting where he defended himself against online reviews said to be from former staff accusing him of racist remarks.
In that meeting, he said: “I make a lot of jokes about racism, about our different creeds and cultures. But I just want to assure you that it is just the most abhorrent thing.”
He added: “I want to clear the air and make sure we all know where we are, what we stand for, and we take the piss out of the fact that all our Chinese girls sit together in Asian corner, which they do.”
He later said: “I would like us to be loving and accepting of each other. We are all humans.”
This is the same unbearable oaf who has the gall to claim he “abhors racism” while sneering about his Chinese employees huddling in an “Asian corner” like Untermenschen. He fancies himself a champion of diversity because he threw some crumbs to his foreign hired help during lockdown by allowing them to fly business class back to their benighted homelands. What magnanimity from this titan of tolerance!
TPP’s lawyers, Carter-Ruck, said Hester was conscious that many of his employees from Asia were young and isolated, and he wanted to make them feel welcome and encourage them to integrate.
And of course, like all colossal imbeciles of his ilk, Hester has fallen dupe to the Prime Minister’s simpering “AI revolution” bunkum, gushing cringe-inducing praise for Rishi’s supposedly visionary embrace of dystopian algorithm-mongering. No doubt he envisions legions of just-about-vitalised robot drones to replace all those pesky human labourers and their unreasonable demands for dignity.
That the Tories would so brazenly court such a naked bigot as their chief Mammon-piper should surprise nobody. This is a Party that long ago sloughed off any pretence of decency, transforming into a mere racket for grifters, plutocrats, and deluded suburban gammons whipped into a stupor of nostalgic delusion about Britain’s faded imperialist grandeur.
They have calcified into a cult of resentment, lorded over by a poltroonish idiot-emperor who combs his hair with buttered toilet brushes. Sunak represents the nadir of their intellectual and moral decomposition – a Davos glitterati relic utterly blind to the cataract of societal neglect metastasising across the former industrial heartlands.
So let this odious buffoon Hester take his seat among the snarling maw of unreconstructed bigots busily liquidating what few remaining threads of civic decency still cling to the spectral husk of the Tory Party.
His millions will buy many more outrages to come as the hucksters of toff-mob grievance hucksterism lash themselves into a frenzy of self-immolating bathos.
The Kafkaesque ordeal of Diane Abbott lays bare the hypocrisy festering at the heart of Starmer’s Labour.
It seems Diane Abbott is fighting battles on all fronts, if it’s not bigots on social media it’s the right wing Labour Party of Sir Keir Starmer giving her a swift kick or two.
The sorry saga of Diane Abbott’s suspension exposes the injustice thriving under Sir Keir Starmer’s leadership. Britain’s first black female MP faces expulsion for vague charges of antisemitism, while damning revelations about racism within Labour are brushed aside as if Forde was just a bad dream in Starmer’s Corbyn nightmare…
